Uganda is known as the Pearl of Africa. Uganda has very good weather. Uganda’s dry seasons usually start in December/January through to mid March and from June through to mid-September. These dry months are the most popular with tourists. The rainy season starts October-November and April-May,however, this doesn’t mean it rains all day. Usually, it rains at night or shortly during the day. One thing to note is that usually after rain comes sunshine. The weather is not a reason to avoid travelling in the wet season since you might even consider it because of the easy availability of gorilla permits.
The East African climate is changing, making it hard to predict the weather during your tour time. However, Uganda’s temperature is very good with sunshine almost 365 days a year. The average temperature being around 26C during the day although in some places it can be quite cool at night. For the Uganda tours, it is remarkable that, whether you travel in the dry or rainy season, you will never find the crowded tourism like elsewhere in East Africa even during the peak seasons.
